Our way to
Wasteless Waves
Our way to
Wasteless Waves
Our idea -
Our aim is to create a supportive platform for the youth made by the youth. The future is ours and we the youth have to take responsibility for it, but how?
We start small. Many of us can't make the big decisions about our energy consumption or about our carbon footprint. Instead, we slowly make small changes. Changing to shampoo bars, walking to school, having your own vegetable garden. We have the chance to make our lives more sustainable, so why don't we do it?
We believe that the youth should raise their voices because we are the next generation, we are the solution.
We are Gen Z
What are we suggesting?
What are we suggesting?
We believe that there is an unrealistic amount of pollution produced by supermarkets and companies in general. Wether it's plastic or air pollution or any type of pollution, it needs to stop. Supermarkets now put over 900,000 tonnes of plastic packaging on their shelves a year.
We want to help reduce the amount of plastic, before it ends up in our sea. Are you ready to join this mission with us? We are asking people, like you, to help us achieve this. Although your voice isn't herd in the adult world, everyone can make a difference, so raise your voice!
reduce
Reducing is the first and most effective of the three R's. It means reducing your consumption or buying less for example buying less plastic packaged items. Designing items like plastic bottles in ways that use less material is another way to reduce consumption.
refuse
Although you don't have much control over what you buy ,at home you can still refuse products that have plastic packaging. Stand up to your parents and tell them you refuse to use plastic packaged products. Some objects and products can't be avoided but many can, for example buy at markets or use reusable bags and buy Eco products.
Recycling
Recycling is the process of converting waste materials into new materials and objects. The recovery of energy from waste materials is often included in this concept. The recyclability of a material depends on its ability to reacquire the properties it had in its virgin or original state.
Pollution
Pollution is the introduction of contaminants into the natural environment that cause adverse change. Pollution can take the form of chemical substances or energy, such as noise, heat, or light. Pollutants, the components of pollution, can be either foreign substances/energies or naturally occurring contaminants.
Reusable
When an item can be used repeatedly more than once. The item or object can be used again and again after use so you do not have to buy another one.
